A Chinese tradition where the bride and the bridesmaids (jimui) plan a series of games of to challenge the groom and the groomsmen (heng dai) before the groom can enter the bride's room and see the bride. During my wedding day, we allocated one hour for the games. Of course during that time, I can only watch live streaming from my nephew. I can hear the sound of laughter filing the air ☺

CHOPSTICK & MONEY (SUPREME MONEY GUN)
The bridesmaids to dispense fake money using supreme money gun and groomsmen have to catch the fake money using chopstick.
FIND THE KEY
Put colorful candy into a tray of flour. Groomsmen need to find the 5 different color candy (Wu Fu Lin Men 五福临门) only using their head such as blow, lick, etc. No hands allowed.
DECLARATION OF LOVE + SING
Groom to read the prepared declaration letter loudly and signed it. Before the groom can enter the bride's room, request the groom to sing a love song for the bride (I requested this as Kyan never sing in front of me before haha - so girls, this is the time for you to request something from your husband that he never do in front of you before).

Punishment

Blindfold groom (wearing eye mask) and ask him to apply lipstick on the groomsmen.
ACT LIKE A GIRL
Groomsmen to say "你好讨厌哦" (you are so annoying) flirtatiously and playfully hit the groom chest like a girl.
WASABI
Eat wasabi filled crackers
PUSH UP + SCREAMING CHICKEN
Do push up on the screaming chicken toy - make sure can hear the sound of the screaming chicken.
ANG PAO! MORE ANG PAO!
Give ang pao! (the most important punishment of all lol)
