Pre-Wedding Photoshoot @ About Hue Studio

I never thought I need to retake my pre-wedding photoshoot. Somehow I couldn't let go of the thought of it because of the previous photos that doesn't impress me. I know it’s crazy of me as this is a big decision but I have choose to retake my pre-wedding photoshoot at a different bridal studio in the end.

After doing a lot of research, I decide to choose About Hue Studio which specialize in Korean style photography in Kota Damansara. We will only do indoor shooting this time. The package consists of 25 photos (+ extra free 30 unedited soft copy) album and 2 frames.

After a lot of tears and fight, finally Kyan gave in and agree to retake the shoot. I know it will be a waste of money but I also know I will regret it if I didn’t make this decision. I was surprised to learn that a lot of bride actually have retake their pre wedding photoshoot, that I am not the only one here.

Because it is a bit rush for our wedding in June, we have to do the photoshoot as early as possible for the photo album to be ready. We have our select gown session on 15 April (Sat) and we have our shooting session on the next day 16 April (Sun).

On Sunday morning, we start to make up at around 10am. The MUA (make up artist) Samantha is a Malaysian and work at Korea previously, while the photographer (Min) is a Korean guy who can speaks basic Chinese but mostly use Korean when he take picture of us. It was quite funny as sometimes we cannot understand what he said so there will be a lot of laughter. But there’s this girl assistant who will help out, translate throughout the photoshoot. All the staff are friendly and nice. They actually have a laptop connected to the camera so that you can see the photo that were taken on the spot which you can see in the photo below.

We take a break after 1st outfit photoshooting and have our lunch around 2pm at a cafe inside the same building. After that we change to another outfit and continue to shoot. We finished the shoot around 5pm something.

After one week (21 April), we went to select our photo and get the unedited soft copy. After 3 weeks, we got our edited softcopy and proceed with the album. The album layout is simple and nice so we have no comment on it. The style is totally different from the previous bridal studio and we look more natural inside the picture. We collected our photo album on 5th June.

Here’s some of the pre wedding photos.

In the end, I hire the MUA as well for my actual day.
For the preparation part, it’s almost the same with the previous bridal studio which you can refer here.
