In the end, we choose Enya Mareine based on their services, quality and no hidden charges. They have really nice ambience studio. We signed up their package (pre-wedding photoshoot - 4 styles & actual day - gown, suit, hand bouquet, car decoration) on 18 September.
It will be a one day indoor & outdoor photoshoot. We have the choice of either choose KL or Johor Bahru (their main HQ) for our outdoor shoot. If we want to have beach shot, we can choose JB, while KL will only have greenery. We decide to go JB (Desaru) for the photoshoot as I do love the beach. The package price include transportation and lunch as well.
Our photoshoot will be on 3 November which is 2 months away. Before the photoshoot, we were required to lose weight and also here's the list of things that we need to do.
For the bride : Dye hair, do manicure, do facial a week before (no hair conditioner/hair mask/treatment 1 day before shooting), bring nu bra & high heels (white or nude color), sunblock and insect repellent spray (Must bring if you are going to the beach! My legs are bitten by the sandfly during the photoshoot as the MUA just help me spray the repellent on hands and body part that are exposed as my legs are covered by the long dress. It was super itchy and swollen)
For the groom : Cut hair a week before, bring white & black formal shirt (wing collar), black/brown men's leather shoes and black/brown socks & belts
Our select shooting gown session is on 2 October, 1 month before the shooting. We actually spend 5 hours there. The dresses are not really up to my expectation as most of it are a bit out of date (in terms of design and color) especially the outdoor dress so I am having problem choosing one. They also don't have modern qun kua as well.
We have another fitting session on 22 October, 1 week before shooting to make sure all the gown and suit are perfect fit.
We went to Johor Bahru on 2 Nov and stay in a hotel nearby Enya HQ called Hako Hotel. We actually have a big fight before our trip the night before. So, it was not a good feeling kinda day.
The next morning, we drive to the HQ and start to make up and styling at 8.30am. We started with indoor shooting. For our first style, it is around 1.5 hours, for second style (traditional outfit - qun kua) around 30 minutes. After that we have lunch inside the studio, the staff brought us chicken rice.
Start to depart to the seaside after styling and make up for our third style. It took around 1 hour to reach there. I am so happy that the weather is very nice with blue sky. Start the photoshoot session and we keep driving to one stop to another stop to snap photo at different background.
By the time we finished, i think it's already around 7pm something. The sky has already turned super dark. And I can feel the fake eyelashes kinda fall off halfway and keep poking my eye (I have swollen eyes the next day - not sure is it allergy or something). We reach their studio around 8.30pm and after that we drive back to our hotel and have our dinner outside (with heavy make up lol) around 9pm something.

It was tiring but fun.
After 3 days, we went to the bridal studio in PJ to select the photos. We can only choose 35 photos but ended up buying some of it cos we didn't know how to choose. At the same time we choose the cover finishing for the album as well. Spend a few hours there again just to choose the photo for our album. After 2 weeks, the touch up photos are ready for us to view. But due to our schedule, we go there after 3 weeks (27 Nov). We are not really happy with the layout. So we asked them to amend here and there for a few times. After 2 weeks, we proceed with the album.
One month later, we finally get the album with the photo frame.

Here's some of the pre-wedding photos that we take

More details on the pre-wedding photoshoot...
Photography
Photographer
Just a little tips. Make sure you communicate well with your photographer about the photo style you want. Previously we ask the consultant when can we discuss with the photographer and she said we can discuss it during the day of the photoshoot. During the day of the photoshoot, while Kyan is doing his make up, the photographer ask me and I (while we were both standing) just give him the general idea of what I want because I thought we will get to sit down later and discuss together with my husband. But no, after that they just start to take picture. The one i am most looking forward to is the scene at the beach, but the outcome is not what I expect.
As for the solo photo, Kyan couldn't even manage to choose one of him as he said no nice photo. I have a few but not really "wow"
Designer
Honestly, because me and Kyan are both designers, we just feel the designers at this studio is not really the best? First of all, we got the feedback from our friends that the photos are being touched up too much (even though they said it's just 20% of touch up, very natural).
Secondly, the layout design of the album. I think it's a bit old-fashioned. We don't like the album layout, we commented and ask them to amend, but they still couldn't get what we want. Even though we did the draft and ask them to follow but no. So end up going back and forth a few times.
Thirdly, after we got the softcopy of all the photos, only then that I realized got one photo of me, when I try to set it as my phone wallpaper, it shocked me. When the photo is zoom in, my face doesn't look like my face at all. I should have complain and have the rights to do so but we didn't complain in the end.
And for the slideshow they done, it was too messy and too much animation that we don't even want to comment and ended up do it ourselves.
Photo album
When we choose the cover color for our album, we have choose white color. But when we went to take our album, the color of the cover is beige. We both also didn't realize it until we went home and was like. Did we choose this color?? Then only we did remember it was suppose to be white. But Kyan said it's still acceptable so we didn't complain about this either.

Make up and Styling
Before this, the consultant told us that they will charge us 4 ampoules for RM200, eyelashes for RM38. But it is okay if we want to bring our own. So i bring my own ampoules and buy their eyelashes. But funny thing is the MUA only use the ampoule once in the morning (meaning only use 2 for both of us) and she just touch up the make up only after that.
I also don't understand how she keep doing half up hairstyle for 2 of our look style and the top part will be very high. I questioned her for the second look, must it be half up? She said must do like that, if not your face will appear round. I just feel it makes my face even longer.

Shoes: @momentshoes
I brought my bridal shoes from Momentshoes in PJ after reading a lot of good reviews on google. As there's not enough time to custom made because it is a last minute decision, I brought a pretty ready made shoes, the one and only shoes with my size there. Lydia is very patient and nice while choosing the right shoes for you. And thanks to her, that I found out I actually have flat feet condition. That's why my feet always hurt whenever I wear new shoes. The shoes from Momentshoes is really comfortable and with reasonable price. Truly recommended if you are looking for custom made bridal shoes.
Actually I am not sure whether shoes is important in pre-wedding photoshoot. But I am searching for heel that won't make my feet hurt. You will only wear the heels during indoor shooting. While for outdoor shooting, I only wear slipper as the gown will cover your leg and feet.

Nails: @aimer_nails
This time I went to this nail saloon in Kepong. I just show them the sample of nail design that I want from Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), and they just follow and did a good job. The price is reasonable too. They didn't mention how my nails are too small, can't do this design and that which I appreciate.

Nubra: IDEALSTYLE (IDS) I Itsboo.co
For the nubra, I brought two types - one is invisible mango shape nubra from IDEALSTYLE (IDS) and another silicon nubra from Itsboo.co shopee. The mango shape nubra is very light weight and I wore this for my pre-wedding shoot. It won't fall easily. But by the end of the day (more than 10 hours & sweating), I feel it kinda fall off a bit at one side. It might be different for every person but personally I prefer the silicon nubra as I feel it won't fall as easily even though you sweat a lot.
