3 Days 2 Nights in Penang, Malaysia

This year, Kyan and I decided to go on a trip to Penang again for our year end trip, just like last year. We departed at 8am and reached Ipoh for dim sum breakfast around 8.30am.

After that we continued our journey to Penang and reached there around 11am.

DAY 1
Hello Penang!

Our first stop is to have a sip of the famous Teochew Chendol. We need to queue up for a while as there's crowd lining up.

Then we went to The TOP Komtar Penang just to take a look around. We didn't go to the top of glass skywalk though.

When it's around 2pm, we went to the hotel we are staying Hompton Beach Hotel to check in.

During the evening, we went to Queensbay Mall as we saw on social media that the Christmas decoration at the mall is stunning and nice. But, we didn't expect that it took us about almost 1 hour to get inside the mall as all the cars were stuck outside the road to the mall. It was a horrible experience as we were stuck inside the car and can't even change our mind. All the cars were driving extremely close to each other and that's when it happened in front of me. A lady was driving closely to another car in front. And she keep driving, shifting to the front and didn't realized her car is already bumping into another car. The driver in another car was furious and keep scolding and gesturing. Ughh... it was scary.

After stuck inside the jam for 1 hour, finally we were inside. It was hard to take a good picture too as there were a lot of people.

DAY 2
The next day, we went to a few places that are Instagram-worthy spot (as what the social media claimed) for sight-seeing and of course, photos!

Tan Jetty

Gurney Paragon Mall
With the concept Merry Gold Christmas, the Christmas deco feel luxurious and elegant.

Bookxcess @ Gurney Paragon
It was harder than it think to take this picture. Your photographer has to be the other side (it will be hard to communicate because it's too farrr lol ) and wait for the perfect timing when there's not much people walking around.

CUBOPARK @ Chusan
When we visited this place, it looks kind of empty. Maybe because it was still early or something.

DAY 3
Our last day in Penang. We went to Starbucks Batu Ferringhi to have a cup of coffee before continue our journey back home.

Hope there will be more trips in the future ☺
