Woke up early in the morning to start our journey to Penang.
Have dimsum breakfast at Ipoh before continue our journey.
We reached Penang around 1pm something. After that we headed to the hotel we have booked on Agoda. We checked in at Flamingo By The Beach Hotel at 2pm.
Day One

• Gurney Drive

Kek Lok Si Temple
We rested for awhile before go out again to visit Kek Lok Si Temple.
Penang Hill
We went there and it was so packed with crowd. Have to queue so long to buy the tickets. In the end, we gave up and left.
Gurney Drive
We have dinner at Gurney Drive.
Asam laksa + Prawn Mee

Avatar Secret Garden
After dinner, we went to Avatar Secret Garden to see the breathtaking scenery of lights. It doesn't have entrance fees but you need to pay for the parking.

Penang Straits Quay
Woke up early in the morning and went to Penang Straits Quay around 9am.
Hard Rock Cafe
Hard Rock Cafe is another destination that we stopped.
Chew Jetty
We reached Chew Jetty around 12.30pm so it was really hot during that time.
After that we take a break and have our lunch.

Penang Hill
This is our second attempt to go Penang Hill. Today is even more crowded. I think it is because of weekend and school holiday season. In the end, we gave up because we need to rush back to KL today.
Have another asam laksa at one of the famous shop (but I couldn't remember what's the name of the food stall). We have to wait for table and people to finish up their food before we can sit.
The Kuan Yin Goddess of Mercy Pavilion
Went to The Kuan Yin Goddess of Mercy Pavilion before we ended our trip.
It's time to go home.
