I got this DIY case kit as my birthday gift from my friend, Peggy. Finally I got the time to work on it.
DIY Case Kit
Includes:
1 x Black Canvas Case (24.5cm x 18cm)
1 x Adhesive Paper Sheet
Approx 140 x Gold-Coloured Studs
How to Do It Yourself (DIY)
1. Draw your stud design onto the clear side of the paper sheet
I decide to do a heart shape this time. I draw a very simple heart shape.
2. Peel back the clear adhesive layer from the paper sheet
3. Stick your studs following your design to the transparent adhesive sheet with the gold side down
Ta-da... I spend hours sticking it. Lol.
4. Once your stud design is complete, gently separate the 2 sheets from one another and stick the adhesive sheet in place on top of the canvas case
I stick the adhesive sheet on top of the canvas case, ready to be iron. But please remember the next step (cover it with a piece of fabric before iron).
5. Move your case onto an ironing board / iron-safe surface and cover with a piece of fabric.
Pre-heat the iron to a medium heat, once hot, gently run the iron over the fabric; use light pressure and move slowly and evenly
Repeat for several minutes
Let them cool for a few minute before removing the adhesive sheet
Ta-dah....
It is not a very perfect heart-shaped but oh well, i think this will do.
After all this is my first attempt doing this kind of DIY.
