Grand Palace Hotel, Miri

CNY holiday is a good time to get away from everything. This year we stayed at this hotel called Grand Palace Hotel. I booked using Agoda and paid RM671 for standard room with two single beds. 

 They provide free toiletries too

Other than that, they have swimming pool facility for the guest

I research a lot of hotels in Miri before that, there is not much hotel that provide free breakfast. Most of hotel need you to pay extra for it. But Grand Palace Hotel do provide free breakfast too which is why I choose it this time. They serve a variety of Chinese, Western, and Malay dishes buffet style daily.

Everything is good, service is good, staff are friendly and the place is comfy. But.... there is this situation of the hot water shower. It was extremely hot and no matter how hard we try, we can't adjust the temperature. So basically it is just burning hot. We called the maintenance 3 times but still couldn't fix it. Maybe because it is not as new anymore. I did drop the hotel feedback form about this incident during check out that time. So hopefully they will do something about it.
