Our long-awaited trip to Korea is finally here. We brought the air ticket last year June from Air Asia (during the promotion period) which costs around RM800++ for two way tickets. We were there for around one week from 10th to 17th March.

We departed on 1 am and it was a 6 hours 2 mins flight. It was such a loooong flight. I tried my very best to sleep but I just can't. When we reached Incheon airport, I have my first experience of brushing teeth in the airport toilet. Lol. It was really cold. The temperature is around -2 to 2 celcius. Can you imagine that? Brrrrrrr.

Delicious egg bun from the food stall. It was hot, perfect for the cold weather.

After that we just went to shop. We really just went crazy shopping without any pee break or food. Lol.  Shopping madness! Shop till you drop!

We only went to have lunch around 4 or 5pm. This is Don katsu (korean style pork cutlet)

EHWA WOMAN'S UNIVERSITY

After lunch, we went to Ehwa Woman's University to have a look. The architecture is really amazing. Wish I am a student here.

MISS LEE CAFE, MYEONGDONG

During dinner, we went to Miss Lee cafe. They served dosirak which means Korean lunch box. You have to shake the metal box to mix the food inside. It taste okay except for the luncheon meat which we all feel taste a bit weird because of the fragrance scent.

Mural Village Walking Tour Course
I saw some people purposely go to find all of the murals as shown below. But we didn't manage to find all the murals. We just walk around and take picture when we see interesting murals. We manage to find 7 out of 11 thou.

LOTTE MART(SEOUL STATION BRANCH)

After spending all the time taking pictures at Ihwa Mural Village, we went to Lotte Mart (Seoul Station Branch) and have our lunch around that area. We actually went to Lotte Mart on Sunday which is the day before. But it was closed! (Please do take note that Lotte Mart closed on Sunday). We didn't know about it and wasted the time to go there. So today we went there to finally shop!

It was so crowded with people

Remember don't go on Sunday as it will be closed

It was so good! Especially when u eat the hot toast, the moment it is in your hand.

During lunch, we have cheese baked rice. I even finish the whole thing because you won't feel yucky because of the cheese.

After that, we have Chinese food at Chinese restaurant for dinner. Even the simple fried rice taste so good.

DAY 8

INCHEON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - KLIA2

With heavy-hearted, we packed our luggage and say goodbye to Seoul. Have so much fun during this trip.

WHERE WE STAY

TOMATO GUEST HOUSE

Triple bed room is very small with limited space. We can put three big luggages but there is almost no walking space. The free breakfast is just toast and cereal daily. Note that the staff can only speak limited English. There are two guys working here. One is managing the check in and check out while another guy is more to preparing breakfast and wash the dishes (this guy kind of freak us out because he keep muttering and talking to himself in Korean all the time even with people around him and when my friend asked him something, he just ignored my friend). Anyways, the location is good and strategic, very near to shopping street and subway. It is recommended for travel budget traveler or if you are just looking for a place to sleep since it is affordable (if you are going to be out all the time)
