What to Bring When Travel to Cold Weather Countries

Since it is my first time traveling overseas (I don't think travel to Brunei at the age of 9 counts!) to a cold weather country which is Taiwan, I have to ask around my colleagues to know what kind of travel essentials that I need for the trip.

1. Long John/ Innerwear (Heattech) 

First of all, for people who are extremely afraid of cold weather, just like me, this is one of the basic needs you need to bring to keep you warm. You basically wear this underneath your shirt. For the top innerwear, I recommended wearing two pieces underneath for really cold weather. I brought Heattech innerwear for only RM29.90 per piece at UNIQLO.

2. Winter Jacket

Of course, this is a MUST. Invest in a good one and for me, it is more convenient to have a water-proof jacket with hoodie because you will never know when it is going to rain and whether you have any umbrella lying around.  

3. Gloves, hat, socks and scarf
To keep yourself warm from the cold wind

4. Universal adapter (For every overseas trip)
To charge your phone / camera, of course
