3 Days 2 Nights in Club Med, Cherating Beach

After working for one year and 6 months, I finally got the chance to go for a company trip, fully sponsored!. It was a 3 days, 2 night in Club Med, Cherating. Even though it is not a trip to an international country, Club Med Cherating is an international tourist spot so it was pretty cool. The trip was on 24 - 26 Jan 2013 and we departed by bus at 8.30 in the morning. It took approximately 4 hours to reach Kuantan, Pahang.

When we reached Kuantan, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant called Pak Su Seafood Restaurant. The food are yummy!

WHERE WE STAY - SUPERIOR ROOM

We were led to the block of our room, in my case it is Block B (B stands for Belalang in Malay which means grasshopper). The blocks are labeled with insect's name such as Cicak, Dangau, Enggang which is really cute.

We were staying in the Superior Room with garden view.

RESTAURANTS

The main restaurant at Club Med, Cherating is called Mutiara Restaurant that serves breakfast, late breakfast, lunch dinner in buffet style. There are various type of food from local and other countries such as Korea, Japan, Thailand, and western food and also dessert. The food is quite good.

Rembulan Restaurant
There is another restaurant for fine dining during dinner that is called Rembulan Restaurant but unfortunately they only serve certain number of people because of the limited space. Heard it is really nice having dinner by the beach. So, we could only eat lunch at this restaurant.

ACTIVITIES

We have to take shuttle train to go to this beach called Pantai Beach where most of the activities are held here. The Pantai Beach is absolutely beautiful.

It was a good experience for me as I watched sunrise for the first time.

And the beach is amazing

There are two types of water sports, which is sailing and kayak.
Kayak is a real challenge if you don't know how to control

There are other activities such as yoga, archery, circus, tree top challenge and land sports. So you won't be afraid that there is nothing to do there and you can keep exploring for activities that suit you. But you have to manage your time carefully because each activities has certain time.

Evening shows can be enjoy every night with different shows every day.

The first night, we watched a comedy show by the Club Med staff. Those involved in the shows are all the Club Med staff. During one part of the show, they will dragged some of the audiences to be on stage and perform with them like one of my colleague.

During the second night, there was Michael Jackson shows. It was mostly performance and dancing.

After the shows, you can chill at the bar.
